Mountain View Builders, LLC is seeking candidates for a full time office manager position to start immediately.

The mission of Mountain View Builders is to design and build homes that incorporate renewable energy and sustainable building processes, including but not limited to solar and geothermal technologies. With an eye on the future, Mountain View builds more comfortable energy and resource efficient homes, and works with like-minded designers and suppliers.

Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Occasional weekend events.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Manage all communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors

    • Receive & pay bills and taxes; keep the books for the company using QuickBooks; Manage payroll and payroll taxes

    • Manage all aspects of each building project, including contracts, customer choices, budgets, material orders, and coordination of subcontractors

    • Research latest offerings in green building technologies and renewable energy

    • Manage all office operations

Our office runs on Mac computers, so experience with Mac OSX preferred.

Experience, or at least a strong interest in learning about green building technologies preferred.

Construction Temporary Construction Trainer

20 hrs/wk, to teach families construction

skills &  supervise them in the construction

of their homes; High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Must have strong carpentry skills

and effective communications skills. 

Supervisory or experience training adults preferred.

$13.22/hour, flexible hours required.
