Builders Association Golf Outing was
held on June 11 at The Woods.

Ray Johnston
April 3, 1934 - November 14, 2008
 

This year's golf outing was dedicated to the memory of Ray Johnston.  Ray was the developer of The Woods along with his business partner Bob Bernstein, so it seems very appropriate to recognize him.  We presented the award of a $500 scholarship for Berkeley County student, Zach Hanshew of Hedgesville who plans to study history after graduating high school. 

Many of you knew Ray as a businessman; but others knew him as much more - a community leader, historian, family man, and of course, golfer.

Your participation and support of this event was very much appreciated.
